Does the job. the materials for the housing are not the best though so do not drop it.

Out of the box the product worked fine - for about 5 weeks and 4 uses. After that the LED on two of the channels went dark. Buy something better.

A very basic network cable tester that does the job. Great for testing patch cables.Nothing fancy about it but it works well. The good: Light weightruggedslow scan option handles RJ45 and BNC, as well as F, RJ11, and RJ12carrying case for all the piecesThe Bad:nothing bad really, but the pouch is skimpy with no separate pocket for the connection adapters.Overall:The low price on this very good quality cable tester makes it a 5 star deal.

This product works well when it was still working but after four uses in a month, it wouldn't switch on. I changed the battery and still the unit is dead. The product itself feels like cheap plastic, so I guess that is the reason why it easily broke down.
